During her 2015 training at Académie Syllable, Julie took courses in commercial radio, voiceover and speech, as well as motion capture (MOCAP) in 2016. In 2017, during her training with René Gagnon for Continuing Education UDA, section Coffre À Outils (ToolBox), she produces a personalised professional demo (French and English) which contains singing excerpts. Her first demo was directed by Jeffrey Subranni, radio personnality for Cogeco Diffusion, formerly of the very popular CKOI 96,9. In 2017 she becomes temporary co-anchor of Les Zégarés de la Bande FM with Marc-Hugo Dupré on CFNJ 99,1.
Julie also lends her voice to web and television commercials for internationally reknowned companies.
She also did narration work for many short films, of which one won Best Foreign Film at the 7e Festival de Cinéma pour le de-Sanry-Lesvigy in France, 2013, and another won the Public’s Choice at Ma Bande-Annonce du Cinéma Excentris 2012.
